WIKILEX - hackdash

https://hackathon.ogpsummit.org/projects/5825bf2eea3393203facf688 Inspired by the results obtained through massive collaboration on Wikipedia, Wikilex is aiming to **give free and easy access to the Law.** [About the idea itself you can view it here](https://prezi.com/kvmngpsceafa/wikilex-english/) [Or in a French version here](https://prezi.com/ncow2w-v8opb/wikilex/) [You can see a live demo version (in French) here](https://www.wikilex.xyz/) It's still a work in progress. Just like [GovDelivery](https://www.govdelivery.com/), it's a solution based on Drupal, a popular open source CMS, built on PHP. **The goal for this hackathon is :** - To advance in the developpement of essentials features (such as saving the results of your research, or to easily create huges sets of law). - To debate, discuss, and exchange ideas about the solution globally, and especially about the user management part (which roles, and which permissions, etc). ** Skills and Ressources : ** Anyone with skills in PHP(especially on Drupal) is welcoming. Same for people with legislation experience. Don't hesitate to make contact and to ask questions. Thanks for adding your project Pierre! One of my personal favorites for the moment.

You might be interested in these projects by the OpenGov Foundation:

  • The State Decoded: a free, open source, web-based application to display laws online (GitHub)
  • Madison: an open-source, collaborative document editing platform. While Madison can be used to collaborate on many different kinds of documents, the official version is being built with legislative and policy documents in mind. (GitHub) Demo with the US constitution (issue: your browser must be setup to display content in English)

Perhaps you should get in contact with them as they will be present at the Summit.

Thanks for you answer
Yes I am aware about theses projects, which go in the same direction as mine.
I am impatient to exchange with them. ^^
